2. Categories of personal data, Purposes of the collection, use and/or disclosure, and Legal basis

We may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail and telephone number) as well as, if applicable, the special categories of personal data contained in your letter of application and accompanying documents (e.g. your face photo, sensitive information voluntary submitted by you, etc.) for the purpose of (i) carrying out the application procedure; (ii) recruiting; as well as (iii) administrating other human resource management. In certain cases, we may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data where it is necessary for us to take steps at your request for the recruitment processes prior to entering into a contract. Failure to provide the relevant personal data to us may result in us being unable to deliver our recruitment service to you in certain circumstance.

In other cases, where it is necessary, your personal data may also be collected, used and/or disclosed for the purpose of legitimate interests pursued by us and/or by any other persons/legal persons (e.g. to detect any fraud on your application, and to assess your skills, qualifications, and suitability for the work/role), and also for the purpose of legal compliance with the applicable laws. Your personal data will be stored and processed for the purpose of the recruiting or other human resource management in accordance with applicable data protection laws and other regulations.

3. Disclosure and International Transfer of personal data

Your personal data will be transmitted and disclosed to KEYENCE Corporation and other KEYENCE affiliates located in the third countries, which may or may not have the same level of personal data protection standards. In order to keep the level of data protection as high as possible, a transfer of personal data takes place only where there is the legitimate basis for the transfer of personal data to third countries.

Subject to applicable law, your personal data will be retained as long as necessary in order to (i) carry out the application procedure; (ii) recruitment; as well as (iii) administrate other human resource management.

5. Your Rights

Subject to the requirements under applicable laws, you may have rights to access and/or obtain copy of, request a transfer, rectify, delete, destroy or anonymize certain personal data that we have about you, restrict and/or object to certain activities, in which we engage with respect to your personal data. You can refuse withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons and give your consent at any time, e.g. revoke by sending an e-mail to career@keyence.co.th; In this case, your data will be deleted immediately after completing the application process.
