What are your job responsibilities?

I’m the Manager for Global Business Development. My job is to make sure that all staff in my team can utilize 100% of their capabilities to maximize the result for the company. As we are a sales company, each employee has their own job responsibilities for achieving targets. This is not limited to sales figures, but also includes personal assigned tasks. My job is to assign the right person to the right job and guide them to find the best way to achieve their targets and personal goals.

What is your motivation for working at KEYENCE?

KEYENCE provides me opportunities to improve myself continuously. Before joining, I had zero knowledge about product information, sales-related skills and marketing concepts. However, KEYENCE educated me step-by-step and provided a process of learning by doing. Apart from the training, I have also received assignments where I am free to express my own ideas openly and do my best.

Therefore, one thing that always motivates me at KEYENCE is that “I always learn new things every single day”. Even though I have been a KEYENCE employee for more than 10 years, I still encounter new situations to solve every day. I have to adapt my skills to deal with those situations and customers. As we have learned by actually doing, not only sales skills but also marketing, logistics and business knowledge have been improved automatically. Due to all of these things, I am very motivated to work at KEYENCE.

How’s KEYENCE working style and culture?

KEYENCE is a unique company. We are a sales company but we don’t focus only on sales results, we also focus on the process as well. We believe that if we do well in our daily process, it will give us a good result in the near future.

We are a big company. But, as we have a flat organization system, each employee can express their ideas or point out issues directly to the management team. This culture helps us to work smoothly and ensures a good flow of communication among teams.
