What are your job responsibilities?

I have been working in Accounting department which is responsible for all accounting and financial activities in the company. I handle both money collection and payments called ‘Accounts Receivable’ and ‘Accounts Payable’ respectively in accounting terms. Everything is about figures.

Accounting department plays an essential role in the organization. We need to collect data properly and correctly in order to prepare the monthly accounting and financial reports showing our revenue, profit and loss. And this data can then eventually be used for the company’s budgeting, forecasting and other future decision-making processes. By looking at those figures, it leads to some important basic questions like ‘What should we invest more in?’ or ‘How should we save more?’ in every month.

Finally, at the end of each year, we will make an annual financial statement which typically contains an overview of the company’s performance, which is very important for the management team to come up with future strategies as well.

What is your goal in KEYENCE?

As I work with figures and my responsibility is making the financial statements, my all-time basic goal is “to make financial data accurately and timely as always without errors in order to provide it to management team for making appropriate decisions which will help maximizing the company’s benefits”.

Another goal I have is ‘continuous development’. I have to always improve my own knowledge and the skills of my team members to create the team that can support the company to grow effectively.

What do you like about KEYENCE?

I have been working at KEYENCE for more than 10 years. Before joining KEYENCE, I didn’t know much about KEYENCE. I knew only it is a global company which provides high compensation to employees. But since joining, I have learned and known a lot about KEYENCE, then started to like KEYENCE more and more.

What I like the most is ‘KEYENCE’s working system’. Every process for every task is very clear, organized and transparent. More importantly, the accounting system is very good and it is being developed continuously. I feel very lucky to work with KEYENCE.

Moreover, I can say that KEYENCE is a good company which always seeks for any improvement. Colleagues at KEYENCE are very good as well. We can always talk and share both good times and hard times.
